I love the House Beautiful living room, specially the suzani pillow on the couch, and the black and white room from Homes and Gardens; the splash of color and wall treatment really pull the room together! Thanks for sharing and have a great week!

Do you think dark and glossy floors are still in fashion - I'm having my floors done, and it's my intention to have them done like the top picture, but a little seed of doubt is creeping in...I've always liked a shiny surface, but now I'm wondering if matt is best...

Lynne - YES gloss is in! I prefer white myself because I find dirt is a little less noticeable, but glossy black floors are FAB!! I think matte would look...unfinished, or dirty.

Thanks TOTART - I'm trying to maintain a sense of calm this week. It's working so far this evening - thanks to a Starbucks latte.
