Jeff Andrews' design of Ryan Seacrest's home

The fabulous designer Jeff Andrews wrote recently in appreciation for his work being included on DTI (Jo and I LOVE it when the people we feature write to us - it's such an honour). He mentionned that his work on Ryan Seacrest's house has been featured in Architectural Digest, and I jumped at the chance to post photos of it. It's quite the home, but I was expecting something modern. Especially when Jeff does modern SO WELL.

Jeff does modern so well indeed. Monsieur Seacrest is so this style... I did not expect modern at all. His look is traditional chic, a self-confessed home-loving rustic champ. Cosy and warm. And Mr. Andrews did a fabulous job at this!!

I agree! The sign of a good designer is interpreting a client's wishes and coming up with a stylish solution. Love those ladder back chairs and the bathroom is just gorgeous.

I think it looks incredibly generic. It looks like every other model home and has no unique personality at all.

Hey anonymous if you have such strong views (and you are entitled to them) leave a name. Have the courage to stand by your convictions :)

I know this post is late, but I think JA did a wonderful job. I saw the piece in AD, and liked it so much I wrote a letter, and they actually printed it in the next issue.

The photos here, I have to say, are much better than the ones in AD.

The house was more elegant and warmer when Kevin had it- Too bad.

I agree it is tasteful and elegant, but generic. No personality.
