Aline Matsika
Aline Matsika has an incredible talent for adding an ethnic African spin on contemporary and antique furniture. She began with a boutique in Paris and a decade ago opened one in Soho. Her pieces include Louis XVI chairs covered with antique fabric from Zaire and 1930's armchairs covered with Senagalese cotton-and-raffia. Her spaces are thus very unique and so warm and inviting with beautiful patterns and woods. (HGTV's Designstar finalist David used her products in his last room - I LOVED the huge floor lamp!)

Glad I could be of help Jenn - check out Aline's site for more inspiration (and her amazing furniture and lighting).
You're right. Her lighting is amazing. Also love the white vases in the sixth pic.
Very tasteful, I especially like the bedroom, it is so beautiful.
The African fabric as upholstery is amazing.
Had to have another look at this fabulous post. Look at that seventh pic - profound. Has totally solved the dilemma for me of how to decorate a round room.
