I love ebay!

No time to go thrift shop hunting this weekend. Too many UFOs (unfinished objects) to work on. Didn't stop me from finding some great bargains though.

This fabulous piece of vintage fabric is "Moresque" from the studio of Ronald Charles Assoc. Enough for 2 or 3 pillow fronts $14. These will be going in my "living room on a budget". But the best bargain of all ......

2.7 metres of Florence Broadhurst Windsor - Circles and Squares from Signature Prints. The price? I was the only one to bid and won it for $15 the lot. Believe it or not these are the first two items I have ever bought on ebay. I think I'm hooked.

P.S. That's my winning bid and no I did not bid against myself. I was just upping my maximum bid in case someone out bid me at the last second. Can't you tell I'm a newbie to ebay?!!

Thanks Anna. Not sure what I'm doing with it yet. I was half expecting you to come over the top and outbid me :)

Beginner's luck Eric. The top one is navy and white which is such a cool find. Orangred I put up a snag of my winning bid because the price is too good to be true. To make it worse that is $11.95 in US currency. Sorry she says gloating!

I feel your pain Eric. I have been searching for vintage fabric for a while now and can't find anything.

Sol - great piece!! Can't believe you're stripping the wood. I wouldn't have the patience for that. (P.S. Love the last fabric choice).

Jo, all I can muster is "you b*tch!"

Kim, had I known what it would take to strip it I think I wouldn't have bought it at all....!!! But now it's DONE!!! However, I haven't decided on the fabric, so I will wait to paint it, too. (Maybe I find a great fabric that calls for a certain color for the wood...)
I love your blog girls... As soon as my new hose is ready I'll send you pictures of it. (maybe you'll be able to guess where I took my inspiration from)
