Workspace to call my own
I'm moving soon and hope to have enough room for a dedicated office space of my own. So what does a girl do when the opportunity arises? Why she searches the web for inspiration.
Kelly Wearstler | Kendall Wilkinson |
Barclay Fryery | Carr Design |
Craig Spencer | Gunkelman Flesher |
Home Magazine | Thomas O'Brien |
Douglas Mackie | New York Social Diary |
Fuse Lighting | Scott Van Dyke |

Oh, I am so jealous, a dedicated office of your own! The Kelly Wearstler image is stunning!
I think i like Thomas O'brien's more, since he has some of his sources of inspiration in front of him. Clippings, photos etc. I find that always helps me.
I agree with cher ami - Thomas O'Brien's is my fav...but I really like the Craig Spencer photo, as useless as that space would be to actually work in.
what about the clutter of files and books and pens and supplies? :P i've had that fuse lighting image saved in my inspiration files for a long time. i also really really love that scott van dyke one. so light and bright!
This is what I am trying to design right now. I can't wait to have an office that is organized, stress free, and all ME!!!!! Have fun with it!! :)
Great post on work spaces. They are all so inspiring
I love Kelly Wearstler's and Barclay Fryery's offices. Good post!
Pink Loves Brown had one of my favorite workspaces in her old apartment (pre-MakingItLovely):

I have more to come this week. Stay tuned.
Try looking a www.abetterplacetowork.com , a "Workspace" hub for freelancers in Vancouver. The loft style design is really nice.
