Minima

Minima is a furniture, lighting and interior design firm in Dublin, Ireland that began in 1998. Some photos in their portfolio shocked me. Here's why: I hate dark blue...and I have no idea why. I don't wear dark blue, and I do not have dark blue in my home. But I found these photos below where dark blue is a predominant accent colour and I love them.

It's crisp. It's modern. It's rich with that great blue. Love the mirrors. Great rooms.

coincidentally, I have a "no navy" edict when it comes to fashion and interiors. It is not a color I care for at all.

Somehow thhe blues in the images are more sea-inspired thn navy (which makes it quite calming). And although I would still never employ the use of navy in my home, these are gorgeous!
