My new room needs some stuff and things

My new "library" has been painted, and furniture placed after about 6 tries and some lovely post trauma bruising and a hunk of skin now missing off my big toe after I dropped the bookcase on it. So here it is:

Here's the thing. I have spent the last 3 nights (actually and all day Monday because I have Mondays off for the summer, lucky me) looking for funky retro posters for my new room. Can't really find anything that makes me want to whip out my credit card. The following are some I have found that I kind of like, although I'd prefer a couple large pieces rather than a bunch of smaller ones. Unless I buy some picture shelves and just lean 'em...

If I'm not mistaken Pink already bought the second one. :) So if anyone has any ideas - please leave comments. Share your favourite art resources.

Hey Kim just found this via AT:Nursery. The "By order of the management..." and robot ones are cute. Still small though. And you know how I feel about iso 50. Victoria had that great post on The Small Stakes.

"that guy" is someone I had spotted on a blog a few months back and ordered 5 of his prints. I love ISO50 and small stakes but was trying to find something that wasn't all rock posters. Would like to see other options.

Forgot to say that the layout looks great. That dresser deserved a wall of its own.

I love that colour Kim, well done! I recently bought a Steve Harrington poster that would good on your walls (it has some turquoise in it as well): http://www.style-files.com/2007/05/15/new-steve-harrington-print/

I also like Option G: http://option-g.com/store/index.html

Decor8 had a great post about posters a while ago.

Good luck with your poster hunt!

It sounds like you're not into more music posters, but if you just want to take a look, Poppy at poppytalk posted links to some fabulous posters she found on Etsy.

Maybe a single wallpaper panel? I think this would look gorgeous hanging on that blank portion of the wall: Femme Fatale
It's also in green on the Sum website.

Doppleganger, thanks for reminding me to check Etsy. I had seen that poppytalk post and meant to have a look. And thanks Nicole, a panel of wallpaper is another great idea! I did buy a screen that I posted on Flickr, that I may leave to the left of the table so I have the space above the dresser still to dress up.
