Outdoor Space
Sat, 19 May 2007It is an absolutely gorgeous day here in Ottawa (and the hockey game is starting as I type this, where the Senators are going to kick some Sabres ass). I bought the latest issue of Wish magazine and in one feature they had decorated a patio and deck in South Hampton style. Me likey. Wish I had a yard this nice to hang out in on a day like today.

Is water hyacinth/banana leaf furniture huge in America/Canada? It's been big here for about 5 years and I'm over it although the way they've used iy here is really good. Maybe I'll change my mind about it. Maybe. Love the idea of of an outdoor room like this.
I don't know about banana leaf furniture, but right now the big thing here seems to be wicker furniture that's actually plastic. Which is a cool idea, and most of what I've seen is actually pretty nice.
Suprisingly, I really adore the navy against the wicker. A lovely combination.
