Passementerie

Passementerie, the decorative use of trims made from gimp, cord, beads, braids, etc. Sounds simple doesn't it. Not when you linger over these images from Spina Design. Yes Anna I love his work particularly his early work with simple jute. Handmade passementerie a dying art and his use of age old techniques is encouraging for the future. I think I have some images of his work somewhere. Must dig about for them.

eric, you are one unique guy, who loves feathery tassles. If I used tassles anywhere in my house the first thing out of my bf's mouth would be "WTF???".
