Nate Berkus

In honour of Apartment Therapy's Maxwell and family's appearance on Oprah today (which I just finished watching - it was awesome!), I thought it was a good time to publish this post.

We all know Nate Berkus - Oprah's designer buddy. He is a cutie-patootie and turns out he has some pretty amazing photos of his work on his website. Here are some of my favourites.

The second last one. Beautiful art arrangement and lovely cow hide. And those chairs in the second one!

I gotta list my favs here - the black(?) wall in the first pic, the black and white fabric on the chairs in the second pic, the wall colour in the 4th pic, and art in second last pic. Love how low (and high) they were hung. If I had done that arrangement I would have left less space between the art but I like the space left here.

I blogged Nate today, too! After seeing him on Oprah, I had to visit his website. I am dying to locate some of the products featured in his NY apt, although I'm thinking most are like his latches from Greece, rare finds or custom pieces. Don't you love those b/w chairs? I think I saw them on an Ethan Allen commercial the other day, but when I went to their website, I didn't see them or the textile. Hmm.

I wish more designers listed their resources!
