I like Pink
Thu, 15 Feb 2007No this is not another post on pink rooms. This is a post for Pink, blogger extraordinaire of pink mohair and casapinka. She loves the g hotel, Galway Ireland, a Monogram Hotel designed by reknowned hat designer Philip Treacy, a native of Galway.

The room in the first 2 pics is FAB-U-LOUS!!! I adore those chairs! There's something so eighties about pink/black/white - it's a great colour combo. And those red velvet chairs - how glam!
Oh my goodness, I was SO SURPRISED when I saw this and the above post. Wow, is it my birthday? I am so IN LOVE with the g hotel and I get to go in May. You can bet I will do the biggest and best post when I go there!!! I really want to do my dining room after that red, blue and gold lounge. How abfab would that be?
I loved that pink room with the psychodelic rug ever since you posted it on the flikr group Rooms I *heart*. So I had to chase up more photos Pink.
Ahh! That first room with the black and white rug makes me dizzy. I would feel like I was about to tumble into it like Alice down the rabbit hole!
Beautiful pics tho! I also love pink but I am super-hesitant to use it in decorating!
Nicole - your best bet is to try pink out as just an accent colour somewhere. I adore pink - I have to redo my bathroom and would love a pink/black/white scheme! I used pink in my bedroom (bf even likes it) - see flickr for pics.
my wedding colors were black, pink, & white! :) I love pink,..but of course my husband freaks when I talk about painting a room pink. LOL But, I always tell him, "You have to go to work sometime!" I can paint a room really fast if I have to!!! lol
HAHAHA - my conversation with my bf about our pink accented bedrooom was "Honey, it'll just be a couple of accents of pink, that's all". He wasn't so sure at first but he seems to like the result. I don't think he'd agree to me painting a room pink that he had to spend any time in though. :) But I TOO can paint fast!
