Fantastic bedrooms featuring fantastic headboards (bedheads right Jo?)

Headboards are a great way to get creative in a bedroom. You can do just about anything to create a headboard. Old shutters, pad and upholster wood, hang a huge picture...the list is endless. Here are some photos of unique headboards:

I love the third pic - simple yet very elegant and the fourth is even more simple yet looks beautiful...something I could even do!

PS Is it gross of me to say that I love the marlin trophy above the bed?

Jo, I had seen the old Designer Guys use one of those fishies once over a sofa and it was love at first sight - that was a few years ago and I STILL love it! It's just so unexpected - but I probably wouldn't put it over my bed.

i love the one from domino with the b/w (of course!) stripe bedskirt, pillows, etc. the fabric "headboard" makes the bed look so inviting!

That one was just for you jhayne ;). I love the casual look of that room - you could have your clothes strewn about (maybe they'd have to be b/w clothes though) and it would just add to the feel of the room! I love non-fussy bedrooms.

I like the last bedroom with the white circles on the walls. I like how they also have the circles on the floor too. Very Cool!!
