Inside Out is out

There are the special little things in life that fill a slow rainy day (or a crazy busy day why won't it SLOW DOWN ... ooops sorry). Little things that make me happy. A good magazine is one of them. And Inside Out is a great magazine. I always get a wee bit over excited when an email from managing editor Lee Tran Lam is sitting in my box. Do we want to see a house? Yes please!

"It's from our new Jul/Aug issue and it's of a makeover of a Dutch farmhouse. The revamp included lots of upcycling – and in fact, the floor of the top storey is made of old cheeseboards! The styling is by Studio Viva Vida of The Netherlands and the photography is by Jean-Marc Wullschleger."

Yeah! There are even pictures that didn't make it into the magazine after the jump. Bonus! Aussie readers will of course be heading to the newsagents to pick up their copy out today. (That's if you don't already subscribe.) Don't fret if you aren't in Australia though because you can read along on Zinio, Google Play and the Apple Newsstand!

Happy birthday Est!

I can't believe it! My how time flies. Est Magazine turns 2 with Issue #9 out now. No terrible twos tantrums for the Est team though, just wonderful, wonderful homes and lifestyle the very best from Australia and around the world. Seriously my favourite online magazine. Here's a little sneak peek at what you'll find in the latest issue... the contemporary French inspired home of the Hilary Gwillim from Melbourne homeware emporium, Manon. Inside Out

The latest issue of Inside Out magazine is here and it's full of yummy room candy and inspiration. Managing editor Lee Tran Lam kindly sent over some pics from the story on NZ fashion dynamo Karen Walker's home. Wow! I'm a sucker for anything by Vico Magistretti and those red dining chairs are amazing. The stylist on the story was Katie Lockhart and photographer Emma Bass. On page 41 you'll even find a little piece on Desire to Inspire. I'm doing a happy dance because I'm in one of my favourite magazines! Thanks for featuring us Inside Out.
