Wallter

I'm always on the lookout for cool wall applications, whether it be murals, wallpaper, whatever. Wallter carries some really fun shapes that are available through 2Modern. They are lightweight pieces that have a peel-away 3M adhesive backing. The applications can be applied to almost any interior wall or door. They are wood based, and come primed and ready for painting.

Wallter also carries mobiles, wool flannel pillows and bedspreads that I love for that modern touch to a space. And a wool flannel bedspread would be SO welcomed with the onset of cold weather. I'd never leave the bedroom, nor would my cats.

Butch and Harold

I received an email last week from Michele (a Canadian now living in NY...how dare she ;)) of Butch and Harold, a peel and stick wall art company she started with her sis Ariane. Their designs are so cute and such a great easy way to dress up that blank spot on your wall you weren't sure what to do with.

Antoine+Manuel wall decals

Antoine+Manuel have some of the most creative wall decals I have seen yet. They are so well suited to the mid-century modern furniture used in the photos. Take a look.

Wall decals

Wall decals are such a great idea - particularly for renters. They make such a statement to walls that you may not be able to paint or do anything to otherwise. Or for someone just looking for something a little different. I have been thinking of some (in a sort of damask-type pattern in black) for the doors of my Ikea billy bookcase to spice them up a bit (they're the plastic insert doors as opposed to the more expensive glass ones I should have bought). There's so much you can do with these - use 'em on a wall, doors, car, family dog...anything :) Here are some used in the traditional way:
