Deliciously neutral

This deliciously neutral California home, part historic farmhouse, part airy contemporary interior is like the finest vanilla ice cream. Not bland and boring but rich and well rounded, very tasty and oh so sweet. Best of all like all great ice cream it leaves you craving more and more. Brentwood Farmhouse by Ken Linsteadt Architects.

A moody living and dining room by Brian Paquette

Seattle-based interior designer Brian Paquette continues to make me swoon over his work - including this magazine-worthy living and dining room he designed in West Seattle. Such beautiful tones of deep green, ochre, black and grey. Moody and dramatic without being too dark.

Heidi Caillier Design

It's fresh and fun, light and bright and liveable. Love this home by Seattle-based Heidi Caillier Design. The mix of old and new, textures and patterns. The mid century chairs in their unexpected pink patterned fabric, the green accents, the soft grey in the striped rug are so much fun against the crisp white of the living room.
