A Victorian period home in London
It isn't often that a home is so beautiful it practically has me in tears. This is one of those homes. This very large, 4 story Victorian home in London has been furnished with junk shop, auction and eBay finds. The kind of finds you can't find anywhere around the Ottawa area, and the kind I imagine salivating over if I ever have the opportunity to visit London, or Paris, or any other city with unimaginably fantastic flea markets. An elegant bedroom
This bedroom with gold/brass accents is feminine, elegant and stunning. I am in love with the light fixture and how it really makes the room come to life. And OMG check out the bed frame with the loose fabric to give it an unfussy look - GORG!!!!

Saratoga Traditional
I wanted to share one more small project by the talented ladies of Studio Revolution. This one may have been a bit of a challenge with one homeowner loving anything french and the other loving their backyard. In the end they brought together lots of greenery against a neutral palette of jute, hides, leather, linens and cashmere with a definite French feel (with a bit of help from Restoration Hardware - I have always had a thing for their Soho Tufted collection).

Tuft love
About 7 years ago I did a post titled Tuft love, to share my love for all things tufted. It seems tufted furnishings never really go out of style, and I noticed many spaces lately while doing blog research that featured tufted chairs, headboards, sofas, ottomans etc. I have always loved a little tuft here and there - it amps up the glam factor and makes an otherwise boring piece of furniture more visually appealing and cozy looking. So I thought it was about time to bring back some tuft love.
P.S. A huge thanks to the folks at Domino mag (one of our favourites since it's inception) for including us in their list of the 26 best design blogs - we are among many really awesome blogs so it is really an honour. :-)
