A big welcome

We have a new sponsor at DTI that I'd like to welcome. The Bubble Roome, the brainchild of David Johnston, who creates wonderful soaps, body wash, lotions, creams, scrubs and salts out of his Brooklyn kitchen. (I bet it's the best smelling kitchen around!). His products are vegan, paraben-free, sulfate-free, essential oil scented with non-petroleum labels and 100% post-consumer wrapping. And shipping is free if you spend $80. AND you get 2 free samples and a bookmark with every order. And may I add that the packaging is totally adorable - which is really important too! Take a gander at his website - great ideas for Valentine's day. :)

New sponsor

I'd like to take a moment and welcome a new sponsor to DTI - Totally Home. They are based in the UK and are advertising their awesome selection of wallpaper. I cannot get enough of wallpaper and dread the day when I will have to make selections for projects around my house. Totally Home carries wallpaper by Graham & Brown, Linda Barker, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Mode, Soraya, Basso & Brooke, Barbara Hulanicki, Erika Wakerly and Hemingway. Go on over and have a looksie. Below I've included some samples that caught my eye.

In the red

Valentine's day is fast approaching, and you've got to get your significant other a gift - quite the dilemma. In the spirit of this occasion I found some great gift ideas at 2Modern, in red of course, in case you were in need of some inspiration.

Before and after

Just a heads-up for those folks who were following my kitchen renovation. I've done a post over on my kitchen blog of before and after photos, which I think are really helpful to give a realistic idea of the extent of the project. A peek is below, and here is a link to the post.

Kir DeVries

We've got a new sponsor in the house that I'd like to welcome to the DTI fandamily. Kristen has an online shop called Kir DeVries, that sells all sorts of yummy items. I don't even know where to begin. There are some really fun desk accessories, insulated lunch totes (I sooooo want and need one), jewelery, reusable shopping bags (sooooo want and need some of these too), notebooks, wall decals, mobiles, reversible aprons, lunch boxes (too cute), etc. etc. Below are some that caught my eye. Oh, and folks, she ships internationally!!! (Click on an item to take you to its location in her store).
