Manfung & Angel (whose shop OHMYHOME I featured back in November) had their first child in March so they are are selling their apartment in Rotterdam, the Netherlands for something with more space. It is white, bright and so perfectly cozy (now that they have renovated it to make it perfect!) so someone needs to scoop this place up! More details on their blog. Gorg!
Last week I shared a restaurant by Suvi-Maria Silvola and Laura Seppänen and ... well ... I just couldn't leave it there, could I? I just had to share this apartment by Helsinki based interior designer and decorating editor Laura. Classic scandi design. Bright, white, clean lined and stylish. Love it.

Block by Dylan is a lunch & brunch restaurant located in the center of Helsinki, right next to the Kauppatori market square. Designed by Suvi-Maria Silvola and Laura Seppänen, it's a cool mix of Scandinavian minimalism, vivid colour, warm wood tones and clean lined functionality. I can't believe I have another restaurant to add to my bucket list. Good design and great food gets me every time. Photography by Pauliina Salonen
Time to take some inspiration from our favourite Finnish interior architect Joanna Laajisto and one of her latest projects, Story, in the Old Market Hall, Helsinki. There are so many ideas to steal from this space. Love the lighting including the old fish trap installation, the colour combinations, the paint with trim finishing part way up the wall, the vertical herringbone tile and the brass kick plate to pick up on a few. As much as the photos really, really make me want to try a meal at Story, they make me start rethinking my kitchen even more.
This beautiful home was recently featured in Nuevo Estilo, a perfect blend of light and dark (although I personally would add a bit more dark). Built in 1898 and located on the outskirts of Copenhagen, it is home to Sofie and Frank Christensen Egelund and their 4 children. (You will notice several Vipp pedal bins around - Sofie currently runs the company that her grandfather created). I love the shocking contrast of the dark kitchen - what a gorgeous colour.
