Stalking two on a Tuesday

It's two for Tuesday, not pizza but properties I've been stalking. The first is a moody, masculine apartment in inner-city Sydney while the second, in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern, is a modern extension to an Edwardian house by architect Geoff Challis with landscape design by Rick Eckersley. Stalking a House for a Painter

It's not healthy for me to stalk the properties for sale on The Modern House. Not healthy at all. You see I get jealous very easily. Take for example this House for a Painter by Dingle Price in London. It really should be a House for Jo. Don't you agree? A former Victorian dairy now a home and studio. It's just what I never knew I really, really wanted.

Stalking six on a Saturday

I'm a real estate addict. I stalk listings hoping to find the perfect property I can't afford anyway. Oh well a girl can dream. There is one problem though. I'm fussy. Not quite right, love the bones but ditch the furniture, bad photos, I need more photos please! Can't quite put my finger on it listings with something that has me nodding "yes". A quick six this week including an apartment with a city view that eclipses the interiors, a pink 1929 Spanish Mission house that I'd love to breathe new life into and an Australian take on a Hamptons style home in Melbourne. Carey School Penthouse

Becky of Libby Kirwin Real Estate sent over some photos of this fantastic penthouse condo in Newport, Rhode Island. Libby worked with an investor to transform a dilapidated neighbourhood elementary school into a 13-unit condominium building, which sold out pretty quickly and I can see why! With exposed brick and beams and lots of ceiling angles for added architectural interest, this is a dream! And those hardwood floors are gorgeous but I can't believe the stagers covered it up with so many large rugs. Other than that I am in love.
