Isabel's home

Isabel wanted to share her home with our readers. All I know about her is that she is Spanish, is a mom to a little boy and girl, she has a really fantastic apartment and she seems to really loves her kids because they have the coolest rooms! (I've got a couple more reader submissions to share but I think I'll save them for tomorrow so stay tuned!)

Brazilian garden

This next post comes from Renato of Rio de Janeiro: I'm a brazilian fan of your delightful DTI ..after so much inspiration I thought I also had something to inspire you (and other readers) too! The plant is called Mucuna, and is the flaming hot sister of the suave blue Jade ...

Isil's bedroom corner

This is one of a few posts I've got ready to publish through out the day. I think I am so stoked to finally have time to devote to the blog again instead of studying that I thought I'd get a whole bunch of reader submissions done. This first one comes from Isil of the blog decologue. She lives in the Lower Normandy region in France and wanted to share a photo of what's next to her bed. The artwork is a present from an architect friend. The hanger is from Casa, the necklace is made by my mum, the bedside table and lamps body are from flea markets, i painted the table to blue. The rug is composed by 4 small mats that i bought each for 2 euros. The lampshade is from Habitat. So cute!!

Teeny, tiny reader's home

Elizabeth lives in a 350 square-foot apartment in the lower east side of Manhattan. YES, it's that small! However she and her boyfriend have managed to make it look cute, inviting and cozy! And best of all they are very happy in their small home. To find out more about why they live in such a tiny space you can head to her blog In Between Seams. Could you do it? Even with the pay off of living in Manhattan?

Queenslander

Couldn't wait to show you this reader's home. This style of house is common in my part of the world but they are seldom as cute as this fabulous family home. Amy emailed with pictures when the call went out for Bris Vegas houses for a Sydney stylist to snap. Amy's place would have been perfect except for one thing ... she has just sold it and moved on to her next renovation project. How sweet is this house and I love the decking in the garden with its sea of grass and boat! Amy included some before photos too so you can see what she started with. (If you have a house in the Brisbane area you want to our stylist to consider you can email here.)
