Once upon a time, in a land far, far away lived a photographer of great renown. His talent knew no bounds. His images were awash in soft light. His compositions just so. His portfolio prodigious. He was in fact a magician, a sorcerer of light and a weaver of dreams. His name ... Romain Ricard.
I'm crushing on Alec Hemer's photography so much I thought I'd do yet another feature. I just can't get enough!!!
It has been years since we blogged the work of interior photographer Alec Hemer. He is one of those talents who can capture a space so perfectly that it makes you absolutely fall in love with it, regardless of the subject matter. When you realize you've been staring at his photo of a traditional space for several minutes and you snap out of it thinking 'since when do I like traditional???'. It's magic I tell ya. (I am in head over heels for the bedroom above and the kitchen below)
There's no denying I have a serious appreciation for the photography of Carl Dahlstedt (see?!). I need more. MUST HAVE MORE. I could stare at these all day. Maybe I will!
