It has been one of the longest weeks EVER, and I am grateful it is finally over because next week starts my badly needed vacation south! To end off the day, I wanted to share some fantastic interior photography by Mario C Melillo of Montreal. Happy Friday!
Just a delightful little taste of the work of photographer Dan Duchars . I love his use of natural light in these shoots. Almost like an extra presence in the space.
I have been a longtime fan of Toronto photographer Virginia MacDonald so I figured I was due for a revisit. In the previous feature the photos were tiny including the one above, and it's one I have had engrained in my brain since. I had to include some of her pet shots too, because you know me. :)
I am embracing darkness more and more each day (especially in my wardrobe, for starters anyway). The intensity, drama, warmth, depth...it's simply beautiful, especially when photographed with such precision and perfection. Paris based photographer Tommaso Sartori is a master at capturing dark or light spaces. They may be minimal but they speak volumes.
It's nice to see some photos of ordinary people's homes every once in a while, where the decor is totally achievable. These spaces were beautifully captured by Los Angeles photographer Amy Bartlam.
