Soothing shades of white, cream, blue, grey and green. This is beach decor at its absolute finest, in this California beach house by interior designer Becki Owens. It is classy yet weathered, with lots of cozy upholstery and bits of sparkle and pattern to catch your eye. This is just super pretty.
I just want to eat this kitchen up (on a giant waffle cone!) and LOOK AT THOSE FLOOR TILES!!!! GORGEOUS!

This is the coolest hangout for kids EVER! Although forget the kids...I could spend an entire day in here doing crafts and lounging on that sofa with some magazines. Gorgeous colours! Another masterpiece by Courtney Nye.
Perched on the roof of an Edwardian era building are 15 new apartments, 231 Smith Street, Fitzroy by developer Neometro in collaboration with MA Architects and Grant Amon Architects. While old meets new on the exterior inside while patel hues are wed with wood. Light, bright, contemporary style in small space living.
Nika Los of Ukraine-based interior and product design firm Mooseberry design group emailed the other day. They have designed some really fun small apartments and while I am getting a computer-generated vibe, this one caught my eye and I had to share. The pastel colour palette is not usually my thing but with the white floors it is very bright and cheerful while being a bit subtle. Add a red Smeg fridge for some oomph and you've got a good thing going here.
