Dreaming of a riad by the ocean? Perhaps of diaphanous drapes billowing in the cooling breeze? Of Moorish fretwork and internal courtyards with playing fountains? A fantasy family beach house on the Florida coast comes to life via the imagination and sheer talent of Chelsea Robinson. The al fresco lounging areas in the turret and the gardens, the layering of white upon white ... swoon.
Last month while I was vacationing in Sayulita, Mexico, we rented a car for a day trip to visit some neighbouring towns. One of them was Punta Mita. While there I visited Hana Waxman's beautiful store. You can check out some photos of it I have up on Instagram here and a pillow I purchased that I absolutely love here. In honour of how badly I'm missing being in Sayulita I thought I would share this jaw-dropping villa Hana designed. Sooooooo stunning, and while I'm dying over those views, the deadly sin that might do me in is lust over all of the light fixtures.
Ease and elegance, sophistication and stylish simplicity. The hero of the landscape design is the sandstone, walls, steps, pavers, referencing the outcrops of this golden stone seen throughout the Sydney area.
