Sea Cliff
Last week I shared the work of San Francisco based interior designer Jeff Schlarb. You didn't I was going to stop with just one house? Of course not. He calls it Rad Elegance. I call it mid century modern meets restrained glam. Fabulous!

Loving the casual, somewhat industrial vibe in this Milan apartment. The cream, white, grey and black colour palette is the best combination of neutrals that lends an air of sophistication. By Studio Paolo Badesco.
I much as I'd love to reproduce this amazing bed canopy by interior designer Emmanuelle Simon I don't think I would have the talent or patience. It's a striking centrepiece for this zen-like bedroom. That is until you look up and see the cloud of floating drapes above or across the room to another of Simon's creations, the Rakù-Yaki Cabinet. Whereas the bed canopy is earthy and grounding the ceramic encased cabinet is a hidden treasure, opening to reveal its golden (brass) centre. Bedroom as sculpture. Bedroom as theatre. Bedroom as dream space for dreaming.
High ceilings, randomly painted walls, cozy furnishings and Milan. Sounds like a winning combination. By interior designer Paolo Badesco.
You would never have to drag me kicking and screaming into my weekend job if I worked at Comma at Byron Bay. I'd be moving right in and never going home. Love the zen like beauty of the simple space (and those rattan chairs by worn). I can see a road trip to this stylish seaside town in my immediate future and a little pampering at this day spa.
