An elegant bathroom

The folks of Minosa Design have gone and done it again. They sent us photos of one of their latest projects and as always, I am wishing to gawd I had the time and energy to redo my super annoying no-counter-space-whatsoever and no-outlet bathroom. Between that tub, the marble, the Gubi Adnet mirror and all that space I am dying right now. Minosa's attention to detail is impeccable. AH this is SO GOOD! Getting old

I must be getting old. Sometimes a simply restored historic room just does it for me. I don't always have to be about moderism, quirky or scandi ;) Upperville, VA house restoration by Clites Architects, PC.

Subtle glam

To follow up that last post, here is glam done with some subtlety. Even more beautiful large sized - check it out here. Via Claire Canning Design. (We appear to be obsessed with anything flat black and gold).

Apartment for a writer

It's called an apartment for a writer. Perhaps an apartment for an observer. For someone who reflects on their surrounds. Holds a mirror to the world and records, writes. Or perhaps is vain? Cares about looks and style. No that would be more likely if the mirror lined the desk space. Either way I'm smitten by this clever storage by Auckland based Cheshire Architects.

Oh yessssss!

I swear I have been staring at this photo for 10 minutes. What a dreamy space. The fireplace, moldings, and mirror are to die for, and then add in that velvet sofa...*SIGH*

This makes me want a black bedroom desperately. Throw in a gorgeous marble fireplace and a Serge Mouille light and I would never ever get out of bed.

This is just cool.
