LOVE!!!

This room blows my mind it's so cool. I have a couple of things that bother me but I'm not even going to voice them because this room just deserves a moment of silence, and then a big *SIGH*. Via MilK.

And I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. :-) Jo and I are only taking Christmas Day off (and maybe New Years Eve) so keep coming back - we'll be featuring our favourite spaces from our 2013 posts. Cheers!

Mews 04

Like a theatre set of brilliant white, this modern extension to a double fronted mews house in Hyde Park, London allows the owners' pieces to take centre stage. Art Deco meets decadence meets minalism with neoclassical whimsy and luxury. Sinuous and sensual and at times stark. Part folly, part living space, part sculpture. I have a vision of an operatic fat lady in vintage Paco Rabanne and house slippers gliding across a minimalist cube towards a Fornasetti milking stool while warbling Wagnerian lieder and sipping Nespresso. And I mean that is the best possible way! Love it. By Andy Martin Architects.

Kishani Perera favourites

I die for that rug. And painting the trim and part of the stairs black is such an easy solution to add drama to otherwise boring architectural detail.

I could definitively chill here. Fantastic window.

Such a cozy living room. I can see myself sitting there whilst planning a trip to Africa.

When pink accents actually work really well.

I want this art. LOVE!

Dark bedrooms are so fabulous for the cocooning feeling they exude. I miss my chocolate brown bedroom.

I desperately want to move to a warmer climate and have a porch like this. I'd live out here.
