A blue library/media room

I wanted to share one more project by designer Taylor Jacobson before I call it a day. I love a little shock of colour in a home and this media room/library in a blue (cerulean?) high gloss is gorgeous. It really makes the books and art stand out and adds drama. LOVE.

Vintage and modern by Black Parrots Studio

I am head over heels in love with this British family home in Barnes and its striking decor. Full of character and drama while a bit on the classic side and pared back. A gorgeous black library complete with black leather chesterfield (*GASP!!!*) and an eclectic mic of vintage and modern furnishings and lighting make this just all kinds of awesome. A rustic, industrial library by Jamie Banfield

Beautiful slabs of walnut (I'm guessing here), reclaimed wood shelves, raw steel supports, some stunning artwork, a vintage typewriter (this one is incredible, it too is like art) together in a small space make for an ideal cozy library/workspace with a masculine, rustic, industrial feel to it. A library to envy

My third floor 'loft' room, since we moved in, was a feral cat rescue sanctuary/junk room and continues to be so as other projects around the house take priority. When I came across this library/garage space I nearly had a stoke. What an amazing space to hang out, enjoy peace and quiet and read a book. I would even consider taking up yoga if I could do it with all that room to move and those views! By Ziegler Antonin Architecte.

Book storage heaven

The study in Giorgio Armani's home in Milan, where floor to ceiling shelving galley-style take centre stage in this long and narrow space. Oh yes! Via Vogue UK
