I love Potts Point. I think it's my favourite Sydney suburb. Full of history, close to the action and with that frisson of seediness meets money. The perfect base for exploring the harbour city. Now if I could just organise a few days away instead of daydreaming in front of my computer screen I might just have to stay in this fabulous apartment available through Contemporary Hotels. A stylish marriage of old and new.

This light filled two bedroom corner apartment in a warehouse conversion in Surry Hills by Infinite Design would be a stylish inner city base to explore the sights and tastes of this exciting city. I can't pack my bags fast enough.
For all those mid century aficionados out there sometimes a dream can come true. You may never get to own a classic 60s beach shack on Cape Cod but you can rent it for a week. Hatch Cottage, an experimental house designed by Jack Hall. An almost untouched time capsule with panoramic water views and modernist simplicity.
