I am stoked that the latest issue of Home & Delicious, an e-mag from Iceland is now live! It features a couple of homes decked out for the holidays, as well as some UNREAL recipes that I am drooling over (doesn't help that I'm starving) and really want to try out. So here's a little peek of some of the interior shots, gorgeous as always by Gunnar Sverrisson. I had to sneak in a couple of the food photos too. :)
This post is pushing all of my rustic buttons let me tell ya. Meaghan emailed us about this place, as she likes to hunt for the perfect getaway cabin this time of year. I hear ya Meaghan! She found these cottages, Twin Farms, located in Vermont and what a vacation this would be. It consists of a farmhouse (dating from the late 1700s), 5 cottages were added in the 90s, and with more additions the accommodations are now 20. It's stunning, as you will see from this selection of photos from several of the cottages.
I had Friday off from my day job (I love/need my compressed Fridays) so I spent a bit of time scouring Bloglovin' for some eye candy. I thought I would share with you some of my finds. I tried to keep it in the spirit of the holidays or the gawd-awful cold weather, with some blogs I am familiar with and some that are new to me. P.S. Seems we haven't gotten enough of gorgeous beachy homes in Uruguay. Here's yet another one for you, again by Martín Gómez Arquitectos. sietemares is a gorgeous residence also in Punta del Este located near the town of José Ignacio and the Atlantic ocean, and is surrounded by a eucalyptus forest. It was designed to be used as a vacation rental with 3 independent suites and a living and dining area with a semi-integrated kitchen. It is absolutely gorgeous and I would LOVE to spend a vacation there. For more information check out their site. What a perfect way to end the work week. *SIGH*
