It's just a hallway I hear you say. It's just a staircase. Yet I'm crushing heavily on these normally neglected areas. In the hands of Moscow-based Malyeva Interiors the monochromatic spaces are crisp, refined, divine. Such timeless beauty.
I don't think I've seen such a lovely entrance hall in ages. The colour, the textures, the mix of old and new, traditional but not at all stuffy, country but not saccharine sweet. I was perusing sköna hem this morning and came across these spaces that caught my eye. Awesomeness in the form of a fat Pug, some stacks of tied up old weathered books (I want to do this in my living room), a cozy living room and an eclectic kitchen (love the plaster treatment on the wall and sewing machine table base).
