Can you imagine how what design magic is being conjured up in this fabulous space in Berlin? It’s the workshop, showroom, office and home of Quiet Studios and I'm in love. I wish my creative space was as inspiring.
Drama, drama, drama. It's glam, it's lush, it's sophisticated yet theatrical. It's "Trad with a Twist", a dark boudoir with a provocative edge by Jessie D. Miller Design.
I wanted to share this project by Amber Sokolowski of Soko Design because it shows how to inject personality into a home without much architectural interest. A fireplace in the dining room is a great feature, and despite it being somewhat oddly placed, is now a focal point when wrapped in graphic tile. Love the teak dining set adding some mid-century funk and adore the large scale artwork in the foyer.
With its high contrast detail - a black and white palette and interesting play of texture, soft on hard texture, this Melbourne residence involved a renovation and extension to the double fronted Victorian on Winter Street in Malvern for two professionals and their growing family. The furniture includes a mix of designer furniture and lighting, eclectic collected vintage pieces and custom-made items designed by the designers B.E Architecture.
