LOVE
A really long wooden dining table with a bunch of vintage chairs (and old schoolhouse looking ones to boot) = a HUGE *YES!* in my book.
As much as I love having 25 drawers in my kitchen to keep everything organized, there's something really appealing about having every kitchen gadget and spice jar at your fingertips (although the dust and grease must be such a pain in the arse). Both photos via Freunde von Freunden.
Dining room storage
Annie emailed us a while ago hoping we'd do a post on tall dining room buffets....and she mentioned she doesn't really like classic ones with glass door fronts. I thought I'd do a post that features some tall cabinets as well as some other options for those looking for dining room storage inspiration. I had to include some buffet/hutch combos with glass doors because I think they are so handy - you can hide away linens, cutlery and other things you don't need out on display, and glass doors let you see all your prettiest dishes without worrying they'll gather dust.

Tablescapes
Last month I mentioned in this post that Manvi was holding a tablescaping design camp at the Mitchel Gold + Bob Williams showroom in DC. Manvi gave us access to a bunch of photos that were snapped at the event. The results, both for formal and informal gatherings, are really beautiful and inspirational...especially for someone like me who has absolutely no clue how to decorate a table.
