Cobbold Du Pont

Rebecca Du Pont De Bie and Caroline Cobbold, the lovely ladies behind London-based Cobbold Du Pont Interiors, emailed us recently and shared some photos from their absolutely incredible portfolio. Their firm was created in 2007 and with over 30 years experience between the two as freelance set designers and decorators, they set out to create eclectic, elegant and seemingly effortless spaces that wowed both Jo and I. Here is your first peek at some of their work. I believe it is a converted church that belongs to Rebecca. So beautiful!! (Next week I'll show you quite a different project - this time with a bit of a glam factor).

Buck House blues

Are you addicted to 1stdibs like I am? I wait eagerly each week for my "fix". My favourite dealer? Buck House. Deborah Buck is an artist and designer. Her Madison Ave, New York gallery is artfully crammed with treasures that make my heart sing. Her ability to source beautiful objects is uncanny and the vignettes she creates in her shop are akin to creating paintings. Am I gushing? Can't help it because I'd live in her gallery if I could. Her "sense" of blue is amazing. Enough ... enjoy the pictures.

Didier Gomez

Paris based architect and designer Didier Gomez sums it up best on his website. "The furniture and spaces I create are meaningful only if they can improve daily life, promote fulfillment and create harmony in living areas." European in design but influenced by Didier's multicultural experiences the spaces are global in aesthetic. Oh ..... and stunning!

Lucite lust

You may call it Acrylic, Plexiglas, Lucite, or Perspex but I call it fabulous. Aaron R. Thomas designs and creates these fab pieces. Aaron works with his design team out of his studio in Orange County, California. Both Kim and I are Lucite lovers and Aaron's pieces are calling my name and if they are singing to you too check out his website for great deals. But don't stop at the website only. Check out the blog! As Aaron says, "We have that which you crave."
