Dogs/cats/chairs

It's been a while since I've done an animal post, and when I found Adrian Burke's portfolio, I thought it was about time I posted some adorable animal photos. Thankfully he had some that involved chairs or other furniture so it would relate somewhat to the topic of this blog. This post is in honour of my new cat Mimin, who has decided to let bygones be bygones and get along with the other four monsters cats. (*PHEW*)

Wishbone chair

Ah, the wishbone chair. Otherwise known as the Y chair or the CH24 chair. This was designed by Hans Wegner in 1950 and is one of his most popular pieces. I love it's Scandinavian organic simplicity. My favourite is this chair paired with an old harvest table. OH YEAH. A bit of Wishbone chair porn for your enjoyment.

Arne Jacobsen designed the Egg Chair in 1958 for the lobby and reception areas at the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The Egg Chair continues to be one of Arne Jacobsen's most popular designs, mixing organic forms along with comfort. Love it, covet it, so want it!!
