My crush on Victorian homes in London continues. This Victorian terrace in Clapham, South West London has amazing details. Fireplaces, wood floorboards, bay windows, exposed brick, stained glass, free-standing bath....all of this makes my heart skip a beat. Fun fact: this house was previously used by Farrow and Ball as a poster home for the brand. Available as a location home through jj Locations.
It's 40℃ in my part of the world today (that's actual not "feels like") and I'm starting to think I need to move somewhere else, somewhere cooler (temperature) but definitely hotter (style). What is not to love about this house???!! You have some original features like these crazy huge glass door/window situations, moldings and panelling, then add in a couple of hidden doors (!!!!!), a beautiful kitchen, what looks like Dinesen wood floors and a bathroom wrapped in marble. Mornington Terrace is a 19th century, 5 bedroom period home in London that has been sympathetically restored by Undercover Architecture. The house hosts many experimental pieces of joinery, fixtures, lighting, sanitaryware, glazing and furniture. These were exclusively designed and built by Undercover Architecture and partnering artisans, sculptors, and makers. A stunning mix of original architectural details with modern furnishings and painted details. I love how shades of blue were used throughout the house for continuity. I am totally in love with the home of London interior designer Tiffany Duggan of Studio Duggan. Recently renovated, this Edwardian townhouse is filled with an eclectic blend of styles, textures and patterns. Lots of bold art work and wall colour choices make this eclectic home an absolute treasure.
