Green tiles and other lovely things in a Holland Park townhouse

Everything Hubert Zandberg designs knocks me off my feet. Here is another example. This Holland Park, London townhouse is full of colours, textures, drama and sophistication. That green tile in the kitchen totally makes the space come alive. YUMMY! Also, I would die for a walk-in pantry/china cabinet. Not only do I desperately need the storage, but I want to paint it a crazy colour like in this house. What a gorgeous surprise.

Light and white kitchen

The redesign and extension of this 1750s building by Reed Watts Architects shifted the focus away from a busy road in front towards the rear, opening a kitchen and dining addition onto a more secluded rear courtyard. Bi-fold doors blur the line between inside and out while light floods in from its southerly aspect. Central to all is the simple and stylish kitchen by deVOL. Beautiful inspiration.

Friday drinks

Thank God that week is over! Time for a little after work drinkie or two. Put on some new lipstick and run a comb through your hair. You'll want to look your best because we are meeting up at Eden Locke in Edinburgh. Grzywinski+Pons took an 18th Century Georgian mansion and its 20th Century extension down to their bones and created this über stylish 72 room hotel, cafe and bar. Not that I'm suggesting we stay overnight. I don't know you that well ;)
