As we hit the midweek grind it's time for a virtual getaway. A stylish beach shack with room for family and friends, golden sand and sunshine, even a chance to wind or kite surf ... at Camber Sands Beach in East Sussex, England. I am dying over yet another renovated Victorian location home in London via Shoot Factory. While this one appears to be void of any original features, I can forgive the owners for that thanks to the Togo sofas, the marble kitchen island, the Saarinen tulip dining table, the outdoor space with plant wall, and just about everything else.
The kitchen of my dreams. Modern day living in a historic setting with just enough eclectic touches. Oh and my perfect kitchen has its little imperfections like the old worn floor with its wonderful patina. The Frome kitchen by deVOL. Now if I can just achieve the same look in my own home. Swoon.
You may remember the thatched cottage kitchen by Fawn Interior Design Studio that I swooned over a few months ago. (In case you don't you can find it here.) I thought you might like to see more of this lovely old home. Robert and Tamsin Allen have now worked their magic on the reception rooms. The sitting room is like a private members' club, dark and comfy, stylish and relaxing. The living room is more like a cinema room, darker and den-like while the dining room is lighter, the perfect spot for afternoon homework or gathering with family and friends to share a meal.
I have fallen in love with this stunning Victorian Arts and Crafts style location home in London. 6,000 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, lots of period features, the kitchen of my dreams (all 700 sq ft of it!), fireplaces in what seems like every room....I can't imagine having so much space to decorate.
