New York interior designer Katie Leede has managed to bring traditional and bohemian chic together in this home and create something so dynamic, lush, and welcoming. I have looked through these photos so many times, finding new and unexpected details with each pass. Lots of colour, wonderful textures and patterns are what Katie is all about, carefully curated together with beautiful art and antiques.
I was totally sold on this home just from the photo above (maybe because of the Weimaraner...or the pretty wallpaper...or that gorgeous divan), but in fact the entire thing is pretty fabulous. Light and airy, with a casually eclectic mix of old and new with a subtly beachy/boho vibe. Sunday eye candy via Nuevo Estilo. (Decor: Barbara Maldonado)
Perhaps the post title should be "Going to Tribal", the Tribal Hotel in Granada, Nicaragua. It's Wednesday and I am so in need of a virtual getaway that I'm guessing you are too. A tropical oasis with a boho vibe this boutique hotel is so cool, so stylish and so laid back I know that we'd fit right in. Just need a Macuá in hand to make it paradise.
I've seen Boho Scandi and Boho Shabby Chic. I've even seen Boho Gothic and a touch of Boho stirred through Hollywood Regency but it's rare to see Boho Modern. Glass and chrome, sleek kitchen, wishbone chairs and modern art married with a riotous Roche Bobois Mah Jong sofa, oriental wallpaper and lacquer cabinets. A modern loft style apartment with a strong personality. And then there are the views. A Private Residence in Covent Garden, London by Caroline Cobbold Design.
Happy Friday! I leave you with another project in Santa Catalina by Bconnected. This super cute 60m2 penthouse apartment has a feminine, bohemian touch. As much as I love the simplicity and style of the interior, I would be spending every minute in that fantastic outdoor space.
