Glam + gothic + industrial + loft = this amazing space in Los Angeles by BAM Design Lab (Barbie Palomino & Annie May). This loft is super sexy and grungy with some of the coolest wallpapers I have ever seen. I could totally live here as my city pad and then have a house in the country for all my lighter and brighter decor. Anyone else on the fence about all-over-tufted sofas? I love/hate/love/hate. But here it works so damn well.
With its high contrast detail - a black and white palette and interesting play of texture, soft on hard texture, this Melbourne residence involved a renovation and extension to the double fronted Victorian on Winter Street in Malvern for two professionals and their growing family. The furniture includes a mix of designer furniture and lighting, eclectic collected vintage pieces and custom-made items designed by the designers B.E Architecture.
The drama of black and white, dark and light, always captivates me. These spaces by McAlpine are about as fabulous as it gets.
This apartment in Stockholm is a total dream. Spacious (especially the master bathroom!), to-die-for moldings, massive baseboards, tall windows, a sleek modern kitchen (love the mirrored hood fan!), black painted hardwood floors, an incredible art collection....and no longer for sale. Whoever scooped this up is a lucky sonofab*tch! Via Lagerlings.
This Boston Victorian designed by Michelle Gerson is elegant and luxurious with some bold statements in Hollywood Regency, art deco fashion. Like the kitchen. Agreeably not for everyone but if Michelle's client was after some drama, she sure delivered!! And that dining room is absolutely stunning.
