An art deco apartment by Allison Lind

I spotted this apartment by Seattle and New York based interior designer Allison Lind and had to share because it is bold, colourful, and glamorous with a fabulously posh art deco vibe. I am completely in love with the bedroom. Helloooooo crushed velvet bed!! Gold accents throughout add sparkle, and I'm impressed that she's combined 2 wallpapers in the small living room. Beata Heuman

When I first saw the portfolio of interior designer Beata Heuman there was this immediate resonance. The rooms spoke to me ... or should that be sang to me. Like a siren. When you read the design firm's philosophy you might just understand.

A renovated Soviet-era home in Latvia

It has been quite some time since we shared a project by Latvian interior designer Natalja Radchenko. It was great to hear from her recently when she sent us photos of a new project of hers. It is a Soviet-era home outside Riga, Latvia. Icky brown painted floors, dingy wallpaper and ugly ceilings were once horrible features in these spaces...

But not anymore! Check it out post-renovation and decoration below. LOVE this transformation!!!

The Grey House in Camber

It's a dream I've always harboured. An unpretentious beachside house, comfortable with an almost spartan beauty ... almost. I would always have room for a found object or a time worn piece. A short walk to a wind swept beach. The sound of waves ever present like a heartbeat of a simple life. A home to be alone and a home to share with family and friends. A house a little something like this. The Grey House Camber via Light Locations.
