I wanted to share another apartment by Russian architecture and design firm INT2 architecture. This one has a totally different vibe than the last - alot less minimal, pale colours and patterns and an all around cozier and playful vibe. There's so much I love about each apartment - a blend of both would be an absolute dream.

Russian architecture firm INT2 architecture created this 55m2 masterpiece that juxtaposes classic with modern and the result is stunning.

Casa Zinc

Just outside Uruguay's hip resort town of Punta del Este, in the coastal village of La Barra is the small and charming hotel Casa Zinc. Just six guest rooms and a life time of vintage finds. Industrial and salvaged, antique and just plain quirky. Long summer days by the sea just got a lot more interesting with digs like these.

Apartment as sculpture

When is an apartment more than shelter, more than home? When it is art. The sculptural form of this loft apartment in West Melbourne by Adrian Amore Architects blurs the line between habitation and installation. Curvaceous and twisting, the staircase leads to first the sleeping level then rises to the rooftop terrace.
