Just when I thought I'd found my dream kitchen in the last post ... well ... truth is I'm fickle. Oh no I haven't changed my mind about deVOL kitchens. I just have a new favourite kitchen that's all. Traditional meets eclectic with touches of retro French and contemporary graphic tiles. And the colour? Stunning.
Hello my name is Jo and I'm a Brit-style kitchen addict and deVOL is my drug of choice. OMG I love it all. The simple country style with no overhead cupboards, the pantry and concealed fridge, the different colour on the island and all the brass. It's modern, it's traditional, it's country chic.

I'm stalking Belhaven, one of Sydney's trophy estates. High on a ridge in the exclusive suburb of Bellevue Hill, it is home to Westfield executive and Brambles chairman Stephen Johns, his wife Michele Bender and their vast art collection. (Their neighbours are media mogul Lachlan Murdoch and his wife Sarah.) I'm not bothering with the listing's pictures. They do not do the home justice. The video does. Don't get me wrong. I love the styling of this house in Melbourne's waterside suburb of Brighton. I just think a lot of those plants would soon die if I was responsible for watering them on a regular basis. Link here while it lasts.
