Elysian Landscapes

Jo posted some garden photos yesterday and it got me desperately wanting to get some gardening done around my house. Since I bought this place in December, this is my first opportunity to have at the yard. When I came across the portfolio of Los Angeles-based Elysian Landscapes, the desire to get my hands dirty grew exponentially. With a modern edge, their landscaping includes some awesome furnishings and colourful plants. These should definitively inspire me to put gardening on the top of my list of things to do this weekend.

Noel Mulet and function and beauty

Noel Mulet places emphasis on colour and comfort in his designs. His practical casual style with its modern aesthetic reflects his client's spirit by combining function and beauty. Mix in his refined use of colour and his rooms are vibrant, welcoming and elegant.

fuse ID

fuse ID, founded by Kishani Perera, is a Los Angeles-based interior design firm who has worked with all sorts of celebrities (Molly Sims and Kate Bosworth to name a couple). Her style is young and hip, and she blends sophisticated with casual perfectly. I'm totally loving her use of green, aqua and grey - such gorgeous colours that just make the spaces.

Sara Gilbane

Youthful, chic, modern mixed with traditional, the rooms created by Manhattan based interior designer Sara Gilbane are casually elegant, practical yet fun. Love the patterns. Love the crisp blues and whites. Love the comfort. Far too many beautiful images on her website to include here. Make sure you check it out.
