Robson Rak Architects and Made by Cohen - Elwood

The front façade of this beautiful Edwardian home is gorgeous, but does not provide any sort of hint as to what is found on the inside. Another incredible renovation by Robson Rak Architects. The unexpected contemporary interior is a sweet surprise, and is so bright and airy. (A collaboration with Made By Cohen). I am going to stare at the photo of the front door below for the remainder of the afternoon. *sigh*

Robson Rak Architects - Toorak

What a beautiful home by Australian architecture and design firm Robson Rak. It is a 1930's home in Melbourne's Toorak that already had beautiful original details (shutters, cornices, skirting boards) - this firm simply needed to update it and gave it a modern edge. The result is chic and sleek, and in the hottest colour palette of black and white. Stunning!

Pool house

My first question on seeing this project by 3rd UNCLE was "If this is the pool house what is the house like?!" My next question was "How do they get the guests to go home?" Almost simultaneously I was wondering when I was moving in. An oasis at the end of the garden with just enough mid century references to keep me happy. Sadly 3rd UNCLE is no more. The good news? It is now three firms ... +tongtong Arriz & Co and Paul Syme architect.
