I LOVE this house ..... yet another one

Love it, love it. An eclectic boho mix of traditional, tattered, mid century and modern. Just enough quirkiness and a touch of the artist's eye. This is just one of the properties offered for location shoots by the Beach Studios. Can't fault it ....maybe just a little bit more mid century modern.

Set up 6 years ago the Beach Studios is a small but fast growing British locations agency dedicated to providing a wide range locations for the film and photography industry. Owned by stylist, Atlanta Bartlett and designer, David Coote the Beach Studios website is full of eyecandy.

Wallpaper conundrum

We received an email from Judy today asking for help. She found this really cute wallpaper in a picture from a carpet website and would like to know where she can find it so she can use it in her office. I've never seen it before so I thought someone out there might know.

Judy also wanted to share some original patterns she has created (either by hand or computer-generated) and can be found on this website. Now they too would make some fabulous wallpapers!

Fuel

My boyfriend Jeff works for Fuel Industries, an advergaming and web design company, that employs some VERY talented and creative people. They recently relocated into a former bra factory in one of my favourite parts of Ottawa. The space, while still a work in progress, has me totally jealous that I'm stuck in a vomit-worthy cubicle all day. Jeff took me there yesterday so I could take photos of some of the very cool finishes and furnishings.

The picture to the right is of the front desk. It's supported by a cement block and a steel beam.
