Green with envy
If life was fair you'd find me here. Relaxing. Reading perhaps or just deep in conversation with a friend. Instead you find me staring at my computer green with envy. That's what a great photo can do. Image by Richard Powers.

I'm stalking in one of my favourite inner city Sydney suburbs. I'm stalking the streets of Paddington. That part of Paddington that spills into Woollahra. A pristine white terrace house with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a pool. A stylish family home in a stylish part of town with extensions and renovations by celebrated architect Luigi Rosselli. Let's start in the back yard and work our way up the 3 levels. There's lots of lovely distractions on the way. It may take some time.
P.S. Link here while it lasts.
Do you have to drag yourself, like me, into work this weekend? Wouldn't be so bad if your work place looked like this. Stylish, minimal, calm ... then your colleagues turn up. Just kidding. These are the offices of Slattery Australia, an engineering firm in Melbourne. Amazing design by Elenberg Fraser.
Yesterday late afternoon my husband and I picked up the keys to our new house. YAY!!!! Today we begin hauling everything over from the old house (luckily only a 5 minute car ride) and I am beyond excited (clearly, see below) to start making this place our home. Stay tuned for lots more on that in the near future, and in the meantime I will be uploading more frequently on Instagram since it's just so damn convenient.
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Here is some Friday eye candy for you from the lovely portfolio of Atlanta photographer Deborah Whitlaw Llewellyn. Perfect framing, perfect lighting, perfectly captured. And she even gets the pets involved so of course I am a fan. (On that note, pets on furniture may be closing up shop this coming week as well if more entries don't materialize. So bummed).
