The New York design firm 2Michaels was created by sisters Jayne and Joan Michaels. Their style ranges from mid-century, to contemporary to more mid-century. It's no wonder as their design sense developed in Italy, where they were exposed to the likes of Franco Albini, Gio Ponti and Carlo Mollino. (Nothing to do with MCM, but check out that closet/bookcase in the bedroom photo!)

In the 5th picture from the top, is that a door that's had the center panel removed and a bookcase built inside? If so, that is GENIUS. You don't lose the closet space OR room space!
