Green with envy

Peggy, our blogging friend, emailed with a request. "I was wondering if you guys had any pictures of all green rooms? By that I mean the color green. I keep searching and only finding sustainable (I guess green is the adjective for this) rooms. I've only recently fell in love with orange, and even more recently fell in love with yellow. Green is a color I don't like much and don't use very often, so I wonder if there is a possibility I could fall in love with it to if I saw it in some beautiful rooms." Now how could you not already love green? I am a huge fan of bright green, like kelly green or chartreuse, and if the following photos don't change your mind Peggy, then you're hopeless...and Jo won't send you her charteuse dresser you've been begging for.

I just jumped over to Peggy's blog and read some of it. Great blog. I'm just a little confused. In this post she is saying she doesn't really like green or chartreuse, but in one of her postings on her blog (June 14) she says that chartreuse is one of her favorite colors. Am I missing something?

I really love chartreuse, it's one of my favorites, I guess because it's kind of yellowy. It's the pure green, kelly green or forest green I don't really like --- but, I may be changing my mind. My favorite is the Elle Deco pic where they combine the two.

Isn't contemplating color great fun?

Kim, thanks for this post and for the great selection! If anyone knew of great green rooms, I knew it was you!

Oh, I gotcha ya, Peggy. Thanks for clearing that up. Actually, I'm totally with you. I am not a big fan of the regular greens (kelly, forest, etc.) and LOVE chartreuse and even sage. But these pics that Kim posted has made me seen green much differently. Thanks, Kim!

Oh I love those tiles! And that dining room with the green behind the glass doors. Oh and the little breakfast nook with the green upholstery. All wonderful! I usually don't consider green a color I use often, but I really love it!

Great rooms Kim. Peggy I'm sending you my chartreuse dresser any day now :)
